The Situation
Premium fitness is sold on aspiration and community. The website's visual language communicated neither. Potential members couldn't see themselves in the space, couldn't connect with the instructors, and couldn't understand what made the monthly investment worthwhile over a budget gym.
The Turning Point
Exit survey data showed that 34% of visitors who left without converting cited 'wasn't sure it was worth the price' as the reason. They weren't price-sensitive — they were value-uncertain. The website wasn't justifying the premium.
What We Did — And Why
We rebuilt the site around the studio experience: cinematic photography from inside each location, instructor biography pages that showed backgrounds and teaching philosophy, member transformation stories. Transparent pricing with a clear 'why premium' section addressed the value objection directly. Each studio location had its own page with class timetables, parking information, and a direct trial class booking widget.
Our Approach
- 1.Visual brand alignment: editorial photography, premium typography, and dark aesthetic matching the studio interiors
- 2.Studio-specific pages for each of the 4 locations with instructor profiles and class timetables
- 3.Membership comparison page with transparent pricing — a rarity in the premium fitness market
The Results
Membership conversion more than doubled. Trial class bookings grew 88%. New members who signed up online reported higher satisfaction in onboarding surveys — they arrived knowing exactly what to expect.
In Their Own Words
“Our in-person product is exceptional. The website was the weakest part of the member journey. Fixing it changed everything.”
