The Situation
The spa had built its reputation through Instagram and referrals from luxury concierge services. While this worked, it was unpredictable and unscalable. The website had no treatment-specific pages, no structured data, and page load times of 7 seconds due to uncompressed images. International visitors who did find them reported difficulty understanding services and pricing.
The Turning Point
A competitor opened across the street with a fully bilingual website and began capturing the international market. Claire noticed her concierge referrals dropping as hotels started recommending the competitor instead.
What We Did — And Why
We built the site as a true bilingual experience — not just translated content, but culturally adapted pages for each market. French pages emphasized medical expertise and technique. English pages highlighted the luxury experience and Paris setting. Treatment pages included detailed procedure explanations, recovery timelines, and pricing transparency. We also created a Paris Beauty Guide targeting tourists researching aesthetic treatments before their trip.
Our Approach
- 1.Built treatment-specific landing pages in French and English with proper hreflang implementation, targeting keywords like 'meilleur laser Paris' and 'best medspa Paris'.
- 2.Created before/after case study pages for each treatment type with practitioner credentials and safety information to satisfy medical E-E-A-T requirements.
- 3.Optimized Google Business Profile for both language markets and built citations on French medical directories, international beauty platforms, and Paris tourism resources.
The Results
English-language pages began driving traffic within 2 months. By month 8, international bookings grew from 8% to 38% of total bookings. Overall bookings increased 156%, and the average booking value rose because content about treatment combinations educated clients to book packages rather than single treatments.
In Their Own Words
“Claire shared: 'Our English pages do not just attract tourists — they build trust before the consultation. Clients arrive knowing exactly what they want, which makes the experience better for everyone.'”
